Our most popular AQA human field course seeks to identify the impact that tourism has on the range of coastal commnuinties in which we operate.
Students fieldwork is divided between the high street and residential areas, with research seeking to identify the impact that tourism has on the economies and identities of each town.
A mixture of modern and traditional techniques of data collection are used to 'geolocate' much of the data, enabling transfer into ArcGIS back at school.
Secondary supporting research includes census data and future economic plans for each of the towns as well as social media reviews.
