We deliver a range of human and physical fieldwork investigations in London and the South-East region offering opportunities for GCSE, IB and NEA fieldwork.
GFA South-East provides a flexible and mobile fieldwork provision at dynamic areas of change within London, including Battersea and Stratford, whilst also offering urban fieldwork throughout the coastal town of Eastbourne. We deliver physical fieldwork at both Seaford and neighbouring Eastbourne, an iconic landscape separated by the famous white chalk cliffs of England's South Coast.
Our ethos at the Geography Fieldwork Academy is to delivery high quality and affordable fieldwork. We provide a personal service to work with you in advance of your trip to ensure your fieldtrip matches your requirements.
GFA South-East use a range of venues and suitable public spaces to deliver our fieldwork courses and work with local partners and experts to ensure the information we provide is accurate and up-to-date.
We can coordinate course itineraries to suit your transport and timing arrangements and will make every effort to accommodate all bespoke requests you may have.
Our courses are designed to develop student's confidence and understanding of fieldwork whilst also enhancing their understanding of key geographical issues and concepts.
We expose students to a diverse range of traditional and modern methods of data collection in addition to providing ideas for effective data presentation. We ensure students are aware of the importance that sampling, reliability, accuracy, validity and ethical considerations all have within fieldwork.
